Flight Centennial Portfolio, Flying Colors II

In "Flying Colors" I sought the joy of color as it flies across the fabric to yield its own image. I abdicate control, and the paint seeks its own destiny. The character of each piece changes, depending upon whether it's viewed by reflected or by transmitted light.

The colors are both visual and tactile. Gloss contrasts with silk, both visibly and under touch. These small pieces are as much fun off the wall as on: they invite participation.

Materials: PolyFiber Top Gloss aviation polyurethane (various colors) on PolyFiber Medium-1 fabric.
